How does the MMBDC minority certification credits work and help me?
 
Kolar has been certified since 2001 by the Michigan Minority Business Development Council, the state branch of the National Minority Business Council (NMBC).  Our service expenses can be easily applied to your OEM’s or internal requirements for minority content.  Many suppliers have a minimum content percentage for minority owned suppliers, which can often be hard to achieve.  You can rest easy, knowing that Kolar was founded in 1996 on strong engineering principals and that you will get only the best support.  Kolar continues to encourage and foster growth in the emerging multicultural marketplace.  See the MMBDC website area for additional information as well as links to the certification council, who may be able to provide additional insight. 
 
How can I send my data to Kolar?
 
We have CCX, GCX, and AFX Autoweb accounts for our automotive suppliers/OEMs.  Otherwise, our staff can direct you in logging onto our FTP web area to transfer files of any size.  Smaller files can be sent via email to any direct contact at Kolar or you can send information to our general box, sales@kolarcorp.com, where it will be directed to the correct department.  We also accept CDs, DVDs, 4mm DAT tapes, USB & CARD media, and zip 100 disks.
 
 
What CAD data formats can Kolar accept and output?
 
Kolar can accept all major CAD platforms and can translate and output those platforms as well.  Kolar also accepts most graphic exchange formats.  Please see our Data Management area for more detail.
